With its mission of committing to engage the community of learners into becoming inner-directed, globally competent Vincentian leaders who journey with persons living in poverty situations and care for God's creation, SJDCians are expected to participate in research to have a deeper understanding of the world that they operate in and solutions that fit their needs.
As such, SJDCian researchers will fulfill its mission of being the "Stewards of God's creation". As a steward, an SJDCIAN is responsible for himself and others. Hence, arriving at studies and inquiries that will respond to the emerging cries of the suffering society through a systemic approach to service and mission.
